Customers who shop at Sephora are used to visiting one of their stores, or a mini-store inside most JC Penney department stores currently. That is going to change as Sephora previously announced a new concept store they are opening inside select Kohl’s stores across the country. This means Kohl’s is working with Sephora to create an “immersive beauty experience by Fall 2021”, and plans to have 850 Sephora stores inside Kohls by 2023. Over time the Sephora stores inside JC Penney will begin to close and vacate as their leases run out.
