ISLAND BEACH STATE PARK: OCSN is getting reports of a stuck vehicle at the park currently. NJ Park Police are requesting assistance from Berkeley Township Police to help a stuck Nissan Murano somewhere near the A-6 area of IBSP. Unknown further details at press time as reception is spotty out here. Disposition also unlikely as Berkeley PD are encrypted, and OCSN won’t be able to hear the outcome.

Guy goes to have some fun and enjoy the day. Guy doesn’t have proper offroad experience and goofed up and got stuck jjst like many other beach goers. With even better vehicles. Anyone could get stuck. So I guess by your logic everyone that drive at the beach is stupid. I think maybe your jealous cuz maybe you don’t have a nice 4×4 vehicle if your own to enjoy
David Phillips welp I’ll bite troll. I highly doubt he has a pass or have the required equipment to legally go out on the beach. I’d even go out on a limb and bet money he didn’t even drop a pound of psi out of his tires. P. S. All wheel drive is not the same as four wheel drive. And that’s from 25 ish years of watching all types of people from all walks of life, in all types of vehicles navigate the beaches. Some successfully and others not so much.

If you’re going to drive out there have the proper equipment for it. The state park will take your $200 for permit but soccer mom SUVs with automated all wheel drive systems and no ground clearance are not built for that. ????????♂️

Last year the clueless made getting on and off difficult to say the least. We’ve seen at least 7 mini vans [Yep] stuck on the access ramps last summer.
Guess they are above the BIG SIGNS that say permit only.
