JACKSON: NJSP is requesting EMS respond to I-195 for a panic/ anxiety attack. Troopers are out with a motorist near milepost 23 westbound having a medical panic or anxiety attack in their vehicle. Dispatch advises the patient’s anxiety attack was brought on after striking a deer on the highway.

Definitely relate to this. Had it happen to me and now is one of my biggest fears while driving especially in the dusk/ dawn hours. Hope they are ok.

you see you killed the deer an asses ur damages if it’s bad u call the police to file a police report.
This person had a panic attack because they hit a deer. That means that they couldnt breath a lost complete control of the car an could of hurt others. So ill say it again if ur prone to panic attacks by things like hitting a dear you should not drive.

That would be me. I have Panic Attacks and and anxiety and it’s not a nice thing to have. I have had it since 2001 and now have to stay on meds for it :(.

James Early yeah, I actually have never had to pull myself over due to a panic attack. It only happened when I was forcibly stopped by someone who failed to stop at a stop sign.

This is absolutely real. I hit a raccoon after the person in front of me hit the poor thing and I couldn’t avoid it. I had both of my kids in the car and I had to pull into a neighborhood because I was so upset afterwards. Same thing happened with both kids in the car with me a separate time where a couple of raccoons were in the road at the top of a blind hill on a highway and I hit one. I can imagine how this person is feeling and can relate very much with this. It’s a horrible feeling not being able to avoid an animal and hitting it. ????
I had to many bad experiences with deer almost killed by two of and another one almost came through my windshield thank God I swerved fast enough he end up hitting me but just enough to be so badly.
Hitting a deer can be extremely scary. ????
