GSP: A New Jersey State Trooper was on a motor vehicle stop somewhere on the southern leg of the Garden State Parkway earlier. OCSN does not know the exact location of, nor reason for the stop- but the officer had a motorist pulled over. Things seemed to be going routinely until the trooper called on the radio to send additional units. It appears the driver was issued a summons that he didn’t receive too well. Initially the trooper said the driver was outside the vehicle making a scene and littering, all while on Facebook Live. From what we can decipher over the radio, the driver got back into the vehicle and then ripped up the ticket and tossed it out the window. As the show continued over Facebook Live, the trooper noted the driver tossed a bottle and then some food out the window. Additional units arrived and the driver was issued subsequent summonses for littering, and sent on his way.

Units have now cleared the scene, but if anyone out there is good at searching for Facebook Live videos- here’s your chance. The stop occurred during the 22:00 hour on the Garden State Parkway between milepost 0-80- good luck!

Also, hats off to this particular NJ State Trooper for keeping his cool, and maintaining composure as the driver started acting out.
