Brick Township Public School District has announced that Brick Schools will commence “Phase 2” for elementary students (K-5) effective Monday, February 22, 2021.

All elementary students will move to 4-days per week in-person (Team 4D) early
dismissal schedule if they choose or remain on virtual instruction (Team 3V). As previously
stated, this announcement will provide time for parents, students, and staff to prepare for the
transition of Team 1 (M/W), Team 2 (T/Th), or Team 3V students to return to 4-days per week
in-person instruction. Further details are forthcoming from the Principals.

Thomas G. Farrell, Ed.D.

Brick Schools hopes that after monitoring the initial Phase 2 rollout, that Middle Schools and High Schools will begin Phase 2 a few weeks later.

They urge families to be diligent with practicing CDC-recommended protocols so that the school district doesn’t need regress back to Phase 1 after starting Phase 2, and ask that people watch for further communication of dates moving forward as they may change.
