Langhorn, PA – Sesame Place, like most every other amusement venue in the region, normally closes their park in the winter. They generally stay open till a few days after New Years and then close till the “season” begins for the new year.

This is often done because of inclement weather, and the need to provide yearly maintenance to many rides.

It was just a couple weeks ago that my family and I decided to visit when they still had their Christmas decorations up. While it was cold, and there were very few rides open (because of that whole yearly maintenance thing) we had a great time, and the crowd was basically non-existent.

But today, due to the incoming storm, Seaworld’s Sesame Place park has decided to cancel all reservations for the “afternoon” session.

Durring the current park theme event, Elmo’s Furry Fun Fest, guests were asked to purchase a ticket and make a reservation for either a Morning or Afternoon session.

Morning Session did operate normally, and people with afternoon session tickets or reservations were welcomed to attend morning session, but if you couldn’t make morning session you are asked to make a new reservation for any operating day before March 21st
