TOMS RIVER: Avoid the area of Bay (CR 571) @ Tanglewood for a serious motor vehicle accident. Allegedly an intoxicated driver took out at least one utility pole, causing the transformers to blow. The poles being struck also took out wires, and the crash is causing widespread power outages in East Dover. Bay Avenue is closed at Briar and just west of Tanglewood with detours set up as JCP&L crews are on scene making repairs.

Yeah we did lose power but I didn’t know what happened. No one was directing traffic at either stop light so I got scared but you can cease cops down the street
