ATLANTIC CITY: Years ago Donald Trump owned three casinos and four hotels inside the gambling resort city. Over time, the casinos were sold off and closed or rebranded as new names. Trump Entertainment Resorts is long gone from managing any Atlantic City casinos, but the name lingers on. At one time, Trump owned the Taj Mahal, Trump Plaza, and Trump Marina. The Trump Worlds Fair casino was later inherited, but did not feature a full casino under Donald Trump’s ownership due to NJ legislation.

Now the Taj Mahal has become Hard Rock, Trump Marina was sold to Golden Nugget, and the Plaza sits vacant at the center of the boardwalk. Trump Plaza is scheduled to be imploded in February 2021- like the old Sands in 2006. Mayor Marty Small of Atlantic City is holding a charity event to allow the winning bidder to “blow up” Trump Plaza. The highest bidder at the auction link below will get to press a ceremonial plunger to mock execute the demolition/ implosion. All proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club of Atlantic City. Current bidding is at $175,000 as of press time.

The link to bid on the opportunity is here, but be ready to shell out more than $180,000. Click Here to Blow Up Trump Plaza
