BRICK: We are getting reports of a serious motor vehicle accident with entrapment on NJ 70 near Cedar Bridge. The crash occurred on the Route 70 side somewhere near Trader Joe’s parking lot. Dispatch notes the occupant whom is trapped has a fire hydrant pressed against their legs somehow through the vehicle. PD, FD, & EMS are all on scene.
Fire Department on scene is calling for stabilization, along with vehicle door and dash removal. ALS requested for injuries.
Correction: Fire hydrant is pressed against the door, not patient’s legs.
