Lakewood: At the 5 Star Lexington Rest Home for a medical call. EMS is responding to the facility for a patient needing medical attention. While this is a regular occurrence for patients needing EMS, it’s the disgusting conditions at the Lexington that always bother us. This time dispatch told the EMT’s the nature of the call, and told them to use caution due to flags. The whole facility is flagged for having Covid, bed bugs, and Lice. Good luck all!

The bulk of their money goes to room and board and does not leave much at all for clothing or necessities. Perhaps those with direct knowledge now could report them to the governor maybe shed some light. Was always hoping a camera crew would go in there and report.

Ocean County Scanner News it’s been years but I can tell you there weren’t any security guards there. If I didn’t walk up to the desk which was a distance from the main entrance and announce myself, they wouldn’t have known I was there.

I do not have direct contact or knowledge about its current state of affairs. Those that are reporting current conditions or have current knowledge would need to make a report for it to have any validity.

Well when we had clients there, they only served Kosher in the kitchen. Residents could not bring in outside non-kosher food into the dining area, if that gives you an indication.

Tossed a lot of clothing and shoes after visiting sadly. Fortunately I was able to move a few out of there. It used to be referred to as The Lexington Manor. I can assure there was absolutely no manor in that facility. It was right up there with a place called The Beverly Hills Manor. It was not a manor and there was no Beverly or Hills to be found either. ????
