Barnegat: Police are requested to the 0 Block of Potomac to locate a 46 y/o male. The male patient recently left SOCH with IV in his arm. A nurse said he needs to return to SOCH to remove the IV and see a doctor. Dispatch advises the male patient may or may not have left as per the hospital. The hospital is going to return the call after they check their cameras to see if he actually left the hospital. They will watch the camera footage to determine if he fled on foot, or in a vehicle- if indeed he did flee SOCH. Patient is also a known drug user and was possibly being treated for pain management.
Patient – “What? Thanks for putting in the cath for me………much easier to shoot now.”
Maybe he just stepped out for a bump since he couldn’t get any from you guys……..

I don’t quite understand how this makes the “news” .. seems like real important information today. Junky goes to hospital for help. Sadly if anyone knew an iv is something necessary god for bid this patient crashed needed emergency access ? But I forgot .. the nurse that put the iv in was suppose to be a baby sitter as well?
