GSP: Snow continues to fall in the northern part of Ocean County tonight, while the south gets a soaking. Residents report that the cutoff line seems to be around northern Toms River. Currently at OCSN Command HQ in TR it is a heavy rain- with some snow flurries. Into Brick and on the Garden State Parkway northward is heavy accumulating snow. Areas of Monmouth County are reporting a solid 6” (that’s what she said). Pictures below are taken from the area of the Asbury Tolls.

As the storm continues, expect it to be ugly- with gusty winds to boot. If you’re inside tonight warm and safe- take a look at these pictures of plows and maintenance crews keeping the highways clear for motorists. Please use caution if you’re traveling, and give the plow trucks room to maneuver. Stay Alert-Stay Alive
