Odd that the sprinklers went off
Steven King did you read the article….tells why
Steven, agreed…something had to set them off…power surge wouldn’t do it.
Paul Hewitt a power surge would not set off the sprinklers Paul
Trumps fault right
Steven King
Yea, we don’t know how the power surge impacted the sprinklers- or what happened actually. All we heard on the radio was fire department respond for discharged sprinklers and fire suppression equipment. Also health department due to fire suppression equipment being discharged.
Steven King my guess: if the grill was busy and the hood power was lost the temp could have risen the point that the system discharged
Heart building up in the kitchen with the power off no exhaust fans to take the heat out.
John O’Brien makes sense John
Gary Sweeney ????
Bonnie Hart Lane
Stephanie Lane Nappe oh no!
Anndd….the police cars are parked in the way of responding fire apparatus why?
Bill Roberts ????
Bill Roberts so that dbag Monday morning quarterbacks like you will comment

Power surge would not set off the sprinklers. Sprinklers are a mechanical device. When water starts flowing through the main the alarm will then sound.

They need to reword the article then. But a power surge would set the alarm off
Once sprinklers went off at my work for no apparent reason. They never found a reason but blamed it on a buildup in the water line.

If the sprinklers discharged, than they set off the fire alarm via flow
They need to light a fire under some of their asses that place been going downhill
Very odd that the sprinkler system went off
Covid set off alarm

Right? Like sure, we work for Carrabbas, Brick PD, Brick FD, Health Department, and are trained in restaurant fire suppression systems! We tell you people as much as we know- when we know it.
They were ok when it first opened, since then it SUCKS BAD
Again, none of us here on staff work for Carrabbas- nor are we trained in restaurant fire suppression. Based off what we knew when we wrote the story- Patrons likely needed to plan a new choice for their lunch.
I didn’t knw they are still open. The bread is so good at this restaurant
