With 5 days of school, about 2/3 of the student body present, it is physically impossible to social distance when sitting in the majority of classrooms. In my district we don’t have 1 way halls or stairwells, so there’s no social distancing in the halls either. Then when waiting to enter a class, or work as a group, we tell them to social distance. Send mixed messages much?
Temperature checks don’t do much when its 40 degrees outside, and the kids have been outside/on the bus for at least 15 minutes. That drops their scanned temp.
At this point the parents don’t read the covid form they’re supposed to do each day. They know what to check so their child can be in school.
