As the holiday season begins, please remember to drive safely and always use a designated driver or car service if you have been drinking. As always, we remember our friend and colleague, Ocean Gate Police Officer Jason Marles, a father, son and husband. Jay lost his life to a drunk driver on Thanksgiving Eve 2010. Jay had just finished his shift working a special anti-drunken driver detail. RIP#271. You are missed.

Heard the guy who killed him was getting out because of covid huh
Paul Warren …. hes out, so this year that pos will be home eating with his family while we have to be reminded 10 years ago what that pos did.
Paul Warren just make sure no one buys any vehicles from him. He worked at a dealership before he murdered Jay. Make sure you tell everyone who looking forward buying vehicles to check. Then let us know so we can boycott the creep.
Chris Roller I know he worked at Stanley steemer with me before he got sentenced.
Then went to the dealership f that pos

Imagine that feeling that you and everyone else affected by his sudden passing has knowing the waste of life who took Jay’s life is out of jail 10 years later. Yes, it’s probation and parole and Covid- and many reasons the killer is out of prison. The feeling that family has, especially around Holidays, as they continue to mourn Jay’s unfair sudden passing must be traumatic. Our hearts go out to you and his family. ❤️
