Brick: Ocean Medical Center has gone into divert status again. They’re taking a 4 hour divert- until 02:00 Tuesday. This means they cannot accept additional ambulances, and patients are sent to neighboring hospitals if safe to do so. Generally hospitals fall into divert status when they are approaching capacity.

There are 80 hospitals in NJ. 4 are on divert, so 95% of hospitals are open Hospitals have gone on divert for a variety of reasons well before COVID.
