Our fearless leader signed an Executive Order today lowering the limits of indoor and outdoor gatherings just in time for Thanksgiving. Indoor limits are now capped at 10 people with outdoor being set at 150. Murphy graciously carved out an exception for religious activities, political events, weddings, funerals, or performances. Those indoor events can remain at 150 people.
At what point do we collectively as New Jersey residents just stop listening to him? November 2021 cannot come soon enough- and hopefully we all remember NOT to vote him a second term. In my FL county, we are still on mask mandate and also have the lowest rates of infection compared to surrounding counties who refuse. So. In my opinion wear a mask. If people are worried about catching virus, stay home. If you use social distance and masks when out and about, more stay safe. Just my thinking

It’s pretty disgusting seeing people not wanting to do what they need to do to protect people with in their communities. Maybe you survived covid, maybe your family member has. Their survival rate may be high, but let’s not forget that the other side of it is still immunocompromised children as well as people’s parents and grandparents. You wanna talk about “living in fear” but when it comes to being a parent especially, you should always live with the mindset it’s better to be safe than sorry. Whether you believe this is real or not. I hope none of you ever have to know the pain of losing a child, spouse, or parent unexpectedly to something that could have been totally preventable. Yes, death is a part of life, but it does not mean we should not be trying to avoid it. The second wave is here, and if there’s a chance that it could be worse this time, as a decent human being i’m not going to argue plans set in place to avoid other’s getting sick and possibly dying. It’s not just about not going out, these are workers you’re also putting at risk that are working in these restaurants, who may have a child or parent at home that COVID could dangerously affect.
