Based upon current information and in an abundance of caution, Brick Township Public School District will be delaying the start of our Phase 2 from Monday, November 16th, to Monday, November 30th. Per the parent selection for Phase 2, K-5 students will move to a 4-day per week in-person (Team 4D) early dismissal schedule or remain on virtual instruction (Team 3V) on November 30th. It is our hope that middle school and high school students will begin Phase 2 after winter break.

They really need to pay these parents to be teaching there kids because its not right of they can’t work to pay the bills but teachers are still getting paid to do half the job its crazy
Melissa Parker Finkelday With all due respect, we’re still teaching the same amount of kids whether they’re in school or not. Trying to teacha child through the internet is incredibly challenging. When things are virtual they’re 3x the work to get set up. Right now I’m redoing everything I’m teaching my in person students, so my virtual students can access it. It’s very frustrating people think we’re slacking and doing half a job. This has been the most stressful balancing act of a school year of my life and we’re only two months in. No one is doing half a job.
Melissa Parker Finkelday so your saying my tax dollar should pay you to teach your own child???
Are you smoking Crack?
How about asking the teachers if there is anything you can do to help…..
I mean, teaching your child things is kinda your responsibility as a parent…..
Melissa Parker Finkelday first of all.. No parent should be paid to teach their child! Its your child! Second, this virtual/hybrid schedule gives the teachers more work! Maybe you should become a teachers aide so you can help and see what “little” they get paid for smfh
