Lakewood: Earlier this afternoon a crash was reported on US 9 near Kennedy with one vehicle on its’ side. EMS responded along with the Lakewood Crash Truck to attend to victims. A Brinks Armored Car was turned on its side as a result of the impact with the white sedan. To the disappointment of many onlookers, the armored car’s doors did not spring open to allow cash to blow around. The armored car then likely struck a thick utility pole, cracking it at the base. Unknown on injuries and no known updates to report.
I feel like this is a failed Hollywood movie plot involving robbing an armored car.
