     Regular ambulance. ALS= advanced life support aka paramedics.

     Thanks for asking- we often get caught up in calls that we forget not everyone knows the lingo.
     BLS is code for Basic Life Support, as previously mentioned. In NJ, there are two levels of EMS care available- BLS & ALS. ALS meaning Advanced Life Support for more serious injuries.
