Kimberly Ann if you go to the polling place on election day it still counts as a provisional ballot. Unless you use a VOTING MACHINE your ballots will not be counted on election day. Putting the mailed ballot into a secured voting box ahead of election day is the only way for your ballot to be counted on/by election day

I’m an election board member….. please please please use the boxes. It is the most secure way to vote this year, handing it to me on election day ensures it will be counted last, showing up when u are not on the List of thoes with legitimate disabilities you will be given a provision ballot which is counted really last ( provision ballots take longer because we have to verify you didn’t vote twice via mail in order in another county) a democrat and a republican are present when these ballots are taken from the box and it is recorded. They go in a sealed boz with the number of ballots on top ans signed by both …. you can track ur ballot , but for the Love of God do not show up and demand to use the machine, you will not be allowed, this i promise you.
And in case anyone cares to know I use a mail in ballot every year as I’ve worked the election or been out of state at college always been a registered republican and always tracked my vote to make sure it was counted. If you have a question please message me

Toms River letter carriers that pick them up on their routes put them in one specific tub at the office so they go directly to the county.
This is for real guys, don’t drop your ballot off at your polling site. Drop your ballot off in the secure ballot drop off box nearest your home. You can call your County’s, Board of Election’s office, and they will tell you where the nearest secure ballot drop off boxes to your home. They will also give you the website, were you can go online and actually track your ballot to see where it ended up and when.

Jennifer Anne yeah I know but I use to be able to go vote in person in a booth! My whole family had the Covid-19 early in April. My husband ended up in the hospital for a week because he was just diagnosed as a diabetic the weekend before! My daughter who is 21 and is in remission from Cancer 8 years now and myself had a milder case. We all now have the antibodies and are back to work in which we all deal with the public daily. If we can go back to work and go shopping not just for essentials we can go vote in a booth… That’s all I’m saying
