As the retail fallout continues to hit stores, Bed Bath & Beyond is the latest to suffer. The company plans to close 200 stores over the next two years, with 63 closing by years end.
Bed Bath & Beyond has unveiled the first group of stores that it plans to shutter as part of its ongoing restructuring efforts.
In July, the struggling home goods retailer said that it would close about 200 stores during the next two years in an effort to “right-size” its real estate portfolio, with the majority of the closings being its namesake banner. The first batch of stores, 63 in all, will shutter by the end of the year, reported USA Today.
The following 63 stores are slated to close by the end of 2020, according to the report. (As of May 30, 2020, the company had a total of 1,478 stores, including 955 Bed Bath & Beyond stores.)

Of course. They take more returns than they sell. Realtors go to the shore stores on Friday, buy $$$ in linens and stuff to stage an open house only to return it all on Monday. You can always tell who they are.

Ocean County Scanner News being a realtor this makes me angry not all do this. I didn’t even know this was a thing.. that would be annoying on the retail side I worked retail many of years and I have seen my fair share of returns but this one tops them ????
