Toms River: There’s always room for another franchise in town, and it seems like Dunkin’ Donuts has become an invasive species. While we’re happy a new business is opening, it surely would be nice for some variety. Earlier this year, construction began on a bland pad site with drive through on NJ 37 Westbound near Aldi. We at OCSN have been monitoring the progress and had it pegged as a Dunkin at the start. Now it’s in the final stages, and a help wanted banner has been hung.

On NJ 37 Westbound between Cardinal and Mule will be a new Dunkin Donuts built. Actually DD goes by Dunkin now as they dropped the -Donuts suffix a year or so ago. Either way the finishing touches are underway, with a paving job looking next. This marks the third Dunkin on NJ 37 Westbound in Toms River, with anyone traveling Eastbound forced to take a jughandle. Time to make the doughnuts, right?
