Berkeley (Bayville): Blackbeard’s Cave has had a rough couple of years financially, failing equipment, insanely high maintenance costs, taxes, and rent on the portion of the park that is leased.

This year, partially thanks to coronavirus but certainly combined with other reasons, we have made a difficult decision to discontinue the park on the leased land to save costs, and be able to revive Blackbeards on a smaller, more manageable section of our land.

Don’t worry, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just hello next year to a smaller park.

Blackbeard’s will be selling parts, equipment and trailers on the leased property by appointment only starting September 20th. We will not give tours to people unless you have a confirmed appointment.

Please remember this is private land and trespassers are not welcome and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. This is for safety reasons.

Please message us to make your appointments between September 20 and September 30 for a tour of what’s available for sale.

Dark Carnival is opening a haunted open air walkthrough in our creepy kiddie park on Oct 2. Details to follow.
