The Toms River PBA 137 is excited to announce their 30th Annual Vest-A-Cop fundraiser. Join us as we celebrate under the Pine Belt tent at Pizza Hut on Route 37 in Toms River. Keeping with tradition, the event will be held on the last Monday in September from 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Toms River Police Officers will be waiters and waitresses for the night, all to raise money for the bullet proof vest fund. The fund will continue to vest our officers and keep them safe while upholding their responsibilities to protect life and property.
Festivities for the night will include plenty of fun for your entire family! We will have a police officer in the AutoLand dunk tank all night so you can show off your pitching arm and dunk your favorite officer! DJ Mike West will be entertaining us with music for all ages. All dining will be outside under tents so you can enjoy the music and entertainers from A Land and Sea Mermaid Co. This is a great opportunity to meet our officers and have them protect and “SERVE” you!
We truly value the overwhelming support we have received from our community and our event sponsors throughout the years. Without their support this event would not be possible. We’d also like to send a special Thank You to the community who continually asks us what they can do to every day show support for law enforcement and the Toms River Police Department. Our reply is simple, “knowing our community has our back, and knows we have theirs, is enough.”
*Due to the Governor’s guidelines, dining will be held outdoors only. Tables and chairs will be placed under tents in case of inclement weather.
Jane Marks Biunno hey mom have you seen this? Maybe you and Lynn could go
I did! I posted it yesterday. Nancy loved it but she’ll miss it this year. I asked Lynny but if she doesn’t go I will, of course. I hope it doesn’t rain.
Cops making 160k a year need the public to donate? 20 million a year budget ?
Jay Jansen not sure where you’re getting your numbers from, but TR police aren’t making that much, unless they are all working 40 hrs overtime a week. Typical salary is 59,000 to 69,000
Jay Jansen you need to do a little fact checking you’re way off
