Congratulations to Lieutenant Vincent Meehan and Sergeant Robert Surtees of the Lacey Township Police Department on their recent retirements. Lieutenant Meehan joined the Lacey Township Police Department in 1995 and was a supervisor in the Patrol Division, before ultimately becoming Detective Lieutenant in 2020. Sergeant Surtees began his law enforcement career with the department in 2000 after serving 11 years in the United States Marine Corps. He serves as a Director with the Vetwork Association and also as a Veteran Mentor for the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Veteran’s Diversion Program.
