Massachusetts: This was published a day or so ago for students in Massachusetts wishing to attend school. Flu vaccinations are now mandatory for all students 6 months or older who attend school in the state. This includes child care, preschool, regular K-12 instruction, and colleges inside the state.
There are a few exemptions for opting out based off religion, medical, and a few others.

The story is posted here as a warning. NJ wants mandatory vaccines with Murphy not even hiding it. They’ve been trying to force vaccines since before Covid; which resulted in a large public outcry in a rally in Trenton.
With N.J. being currently a Democratic state, it’s likely Murphy will adopt something similar. His own Covid chats inform that life won’t be “normal” until a Covid Vaccine is available.

My daughter is a type 1 diabetic, and her doctor said she should get the shot.
So, for the last 3 years she has gotten the shot and she still got the flu.
Prior to her type 1 diagnosis 3 1/2 years ago, she didn’t get the flu shot and didn’t get the flu.

Melanie Hulick public schooling is not a requirement. If you can’t abide by their guidelines, then homeschool. In NJ, vaccinations are mandatory for public schools already. Have been since I was in school. They protect the school population. Also, it protects them from lawsuits in case an unvaccinated child gets sick from one who has a shot for something and is a carrier. It’s definitely your choice to get a shot or not, but that doesn’t make it your choice to go to a certain educational institution.
