In a third Facebook message from Governor Murphy, he reassures us that the post office is capable to “come up big” this election.

I had a productive conversation this morning with US Postal Service Chief Operations and Logistics Officer Dave Williams regarding our vote-by-mail model for the November election.
I was very clear that we need the Postal Service to come up big in this election, and he promised cooperation.

Productive in his behalf. Prove that every person mailed a ballot will receive it. Prove that the person voting on said ballot is the person it was intended for. Prove that only 1 ballot will be received per person. Then prove that the “safe” collection boxes won’t be destroyed or tampered with. Prove that all ballots received via USPS will be transported and delivered. Can you prove these things? No, you can’t. Members of political parties were indicted for vote tampering. And voting by mail is safe? Don’t think so.

Carol Mooney they verify every voter at the machines as well. Also, ballots will be arriving before election day, giving the election board time to sort and verify the signature. What guarantee do you have that the machine vote is counted? Is there a paper record? Do some research. States have been successfully using vote by mail, and others have ditched electronic machines because they are not secure. Stop listening to pres dipshit and use your brain.
Jeffrey Ashmen Yes there is a paper record in the voting machine. The machine is unsealed and the paper recorded votes are what the election board counts. The count also has to be verified. As for the mail in votes, they are not counted on Election night. They may have up to a month after the election to return them. I think you are confusing absentee ballots with mail in ballots.
