Brianna N Ryan Tufaro the self test is a different swab… the one used to test Covid and RPP is a flocked tip, but the test for just Covid is similar to a cotton swab.

Staci Lynn yes, all nurses and all trained. Nurses can learn new skills easily and this test is not hard to administer. The person probably jerked away.

Probably the same reason I did. It would absolutely be my luck. It’s sad and to me scary. This test makes my skin crawl. I feel horrible for the person. But I laughed because what Horrible luck. And how the hell does that happen?!

Why bother getting tested….. seems now any symptom from a runny nose to a death certificate is covid, so if you feel sick stay home unless you need immediate medical attention. Numbers number number we need more numbers

The person probably moved while the swab was being inserted, I have had it done both nostrils and it is a little uneasy but really let’s just not put blame on the nurses or techs doing the test, some people just freak when they do the insertion.

I had it down theough through a blood test – results back in 2 days and this is when COVID was ramped up

Well let me just say if u go in the icu, not only does a couple swabs Go in your nose, they go down your throat and let’s just say another private place – from personal experience – it’s not pretty
The wording of this is hysterical. I’m imagining that it was a faulty stick and the swab broke with the end still lodged up there, that’s got to be incredibly uncomfortable
