JCP&L crews are continuing to work around the clock to safely restore customers affected by Tropical Storm Isaias. We currently expect that the majority of customers will be restored by 11:00 p.m. on August 11. When line crews are assigned each outage order, the restoration time will be updated to reflect when repairs at that location will be completed.
An additional 3,300 workers will be arriving tomorrow, joining nearly 4,000 resources already engaged in the restoration effort. These workers will be based out of one of five staging sites located near the hardest hit areas. Staging sites act as restoration headquarters, giving workers a place to eat, refuel and stock up on materials.

We understand this is an incredibly difficult time. Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding and support for our crews ♥️
Thank you for working so hard ..
Wow ????
I appreciate you! Thank you for what you do.
August 11th!!!!!!!!!????
Diane Zaccagna
Yes- that’s from JCP&L directly
Diane Zaccagna I just noticed that too , and said to my husband wtf .. gotta be a mistake!!
I hope it’s a mistake
Diane Zaccagna JCPL is horrible. You would think serving the Jersey shore that could get flooding, hurricanes or some kind a catastrophe they would be prepared better, Especially after hurricane Sandy.
Diane Zaccagna I wouldnt say that. These guys and girls work harder than u think. Give credit where’s credits due
Laurie Barone-Max they get paid more than you think too.
I never said anything bad…I have tons of respect for these guys and girls out there fixing the power lines…
i just got this from jcp&l
I just had a crew from Ohio working in front of my house, they’re doing everything they can. This wasn’t a thunderstorm that struck a couple of utility poles, it was a hurricane topped off with tornadoes that ravaged the entire state. Have patience, if you see them working take them something cold to drink. If you really can’t tolerate being without power, get a generator. We live in a state that gets hurricanes in the summer and blizzards in the winter, best way to avoid being and feeling powerless.
Tara Davies it wasn’t hurricane and only small tornado so suck it up
Um… It wasn’t a hurricane. And I guess jcp&l didn’t learn shit from sandy????♀️
Mark Zambella it was a hurricane when it made landfall and downgraded to a tropical storm…. as did Sandy which was also devastating. And please don’t tell me to “suck it up” I’m one of the few NOT complaining ????????♀️
Many thanks to all working hard to restore & repair our service. Be safe & God Bless you all.
I can’t leave the house without losing service. If I’m not on Wi-Fi I can’t receive or send texts. I talked to T-Mobile and they said their towers are down in our area.
When is brownsmills getting restore
Geri Ugaro seriously !! thats where we are too !! & i just got this from jcp&l
just finally got my first update this whole time from jcp&l for pemberton ????
I have not gotten any info.. in Beachwood I’m the 500 block the 400 block and 600 block have power but we don’t. No lines down and transformer did not blow. We have not even seen a truck in the area
Dorothy Bowles same thing here in my area of Lacey. Old infrastructure that they should have upgraded years ago!
Taryn Barclay Lawless its frustrating but it is what it is I go to friends to use their internet so I can teach summer school virtually. I do worry about the elderly people on the block there are several
I feel really bad for the elderly. We just got a text that many others got stating that JCPL expects power to be restored to most by 8/11.
Ridiculous! All these past storms and tornadoes! These companies making tons of money should have a better plan! Elderly ppl in this heat can’t eat and they don’t drink enough as it is are in danger! This is terrible! No one should go without power this long!
