As per JCP&L’s outage map, they’re showing about half their customers still without electric. 609,439 of their 1.1+ Million customers are currently in the dark. Ocean County alone has 136,300 customers still without electric.

Or maybe they were taking lunch since they’re working 16 hours days prob till at least the end of the week because of this mess. My husband is a linemen and I can tell you me and my kids prob won’t see him all week. Just like every other time time there’s a storm. The man has worked 80 hrs in 7 days at times. The job sucks. Calls to your house at 3 am cuz some drunk driver took out a pole. Missed weekends and holidays with the family. Not to mention working in the dark , in bad weather at a job where one small mistake can take your life or your limbs. So yeah how bout give them a break.

You’d expect overtime pay too Working in all kinds of bad weather , in the dark where one small mistake can take his life or his limbs. 3:00 a.m phone calls to my house cuz some dope driving drunk took out a pole. All the missed weekends and holidays because he was required to work. You do realize he can’t just say nah I’m not doing a 16 hr shift all week in this situation. So no they can keep their over time.
