GSP: Traumatic Accident Involving Lawn Mower

GSP: At 8:39 am Great Bay EMS was dispatched to the area of 55.9 Northbound on the Parkway for a Traumatic Incident. Upon arrival we found a commercial grade riding lawnmower had rolled down an embankment & rolled over a NJ Turnpike Authority Worker. A medivac was immediately requested and landed on the parkway. The patient was flown to Atlantic City Regional Medical Center to be treated for serious injuries. Keeping his family & coworkers in our thoughts & prayers.

We would like to thank the following agencies for their coordinated efforts during this call:
New Jersey State Police, Ocean County Sherriff’s Dept, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Atlanticare Paramedics Medic-10, Quality Medical Transport 35, West Tuckerton Fire Company, New Gretna Fire Company, Life Flight Medivac from Robert Wood Johnson.
