A Brick resident who hosted a large party that quickly grew to over 400 people and prompted a large police response has issued an apology letter to local neighbors. She stated in the letter that she had been asked by a friend to host a small exclusive event with less than 75 people but it quickly grew to more than that and got out of control. Below is a copy of the letter.

Taking your child to a family party/reunion or another child’s birthday party is fine. But this was an adult event. This was not just some family & friend get together party that got “out of hand”. She had posted that tickets got sold for this which makes it an event & means its not just family & friends, its for anyone that buys ticket. If was just for the people she knew, she wouldn’t need tickets, she can personally invite them. But made tickets which meant anyone could come as long as purchased ticket. N paid for a bartender, dj security n a hookah girl. Why would u need security for yourself from your family & friends? This was a preplanned adult outside event. Which First of all, she needed a permit for So there is so many illegal things she is going to be facing from not having permit, the drugs, guns, damage, police officers getting hurt along with everything else.
Getting forgiveness from her neighbors should be the least of her problems. That should be last on her list. She obviously cares more about what people think of her over anything else since in her letter of ” forgiveness” she tries to put a sob story about herself to use an excuse & starts blaming others like saying people she invited went &gave her address out & that’s how it wined ul being so many people she didn’t know (when there’s proof she sold tickets like an event) then tried to ssy police were slacking taking 3/hours get there. Seriously it never should have got to that point where police were needed. Putting story about her parents passing away n moving here start new good life is completely irrelevant in my eyes &/should not be considered a reason or excuse for her actions. She preplanned this period n is FULLY responsible for everything If amy of what she said was true then Her security did a horrible job by letting everyone in &/not checking them for weapons or drugs. (which is BS ) if they had a ticket then they were allowed in n she knew how many tickets she printed n how many were sold. So she openly admits in letter and on her public Facebook page that it was a “private event”. She paid for front door security, a DJ, a hookah girl and charged to get in and knew exactly how many tickets were sold and even stated on her Facebook page that “all of Brooklyn bought a ticket”. I’m pretty sure you can not host private events as such without a permit. Hell, I’m not even sure if you’re allowed to host an event like that on a residential property/neighborhood. I hope brick police is aware of this letter and her page and fines/charges her for having a EVENT in the middle of a neighborhood flooded with children!!!!!!

I live the next street over from this house. I will say in the 5 years I’ve lived in this house I never feared for my family’s safety, until that night. The amount of people walking and hanging in my yard, walking up to my back gate, up my driveway was not okay. I have a 4 year old son who is my #1 concern and at any moment something could’ve went wrong. Thankfully it didn’t, but I am really hoping she learned a lesson but I doubt it.

The way cars are speeding through the neighborhood trying to avoid the what I think was a checkpoint on Drum Point and Baywood, I was legitimately afraid of a car driving up my lawn or worse.

To me this letter does not shine any light on her cause whatsoever. If anything it shows how irresponsible she is. She claimed the people that weren’t invited just made their way into her home. I am sure her or the husband are the ones who pay the mortgage and not the teenager. Try coming to my house without an invite and see how that works for you.
