PRESS RELEASE-TOMS RIVER MAN CHARGED WITH MAKING TERRORISTIC THREATS
Ocean County First Assistant Prosecutor Michael T. Nolan, Jr., announced that Christopher Angulo, 46, of Toms River, was charged with making Terroristic Threats During a Declared State of Emergency in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-3a.
On July 22, 2020, Angulo contacted the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office directly and made threats that he was going to kill police officers. Angulo had previously made specific threats against members of the Bay Head Borough Police Department in May 2020, and was charged accordingly at that time.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit located Angulo at a residence in Toms River on July 22, 2020, and he was taken into custody without incident. Angulo is presently lodged in the Ocean County Jail pending a detention hearing.
The public and press are reminded that all defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

We also did big things at Central Regional High School. But most importantly, he was a great human being. Always had a smile and treated everyone with love, respect, and kindness. I was one of the last people to see Jay alive. And I was the one who helped his mom when she passed out at the funeral.
By the way I saw the live video where Bay Head accused him. He never made any threats.

They obviously aren’t pro law enforcement so their comment was snotty. Screw them and whoever runs their page. Screw anyone who screams defund the police but calls the police when they’re in trouble. A lot of great cops out there that I went to high school and college with and are friends with to this day.
