   People should not throw cigarette butts in dry mulch. I saw this at Stop & Shop last summer. Employee said little fires were being put out all day from people discarding cigarette butts.

     Or people shouldn’t pile mulch too high. Mulch can ignite from it being too hot outside in the harsh sunlight if it’s too deep. It does not have to be a cigarette that ignites it.
