Casual dining chain Ruby Tuesday has decided to close three area restaurants. The chain is distinctive for its’ salad bar, which has almost died off in today’s restaurants. Ruby Tuesday has been closing stores periodically for the last few years now, but the company decided to close 95 stores amid the Coronavirus pandemic.

As per the Ruby Tuesday website, only the Toms River (NJ 37 West) and Monmouth Mall locations are listed. Phones went unanswered and the following locations were removed from the corporate website. NJ 66 in Neptune, Freehold Raceway Mall, and NJ 70 in Lakewood on the Brick border.

According to the website and the Facebook page, a few more NJ Ruby Tuesday’s closed this week. As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, many restaurants are struggling as their dining rooms remain closed.

This is yet another blow for Freehold Raceway Mall which is losing Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor.
