Today at 10:36 Hours Stations 25/26 were dispatched to the River Terrace section of our first due for a person trapped in an overturned bobcat. Rescue-Engine 2561 and Heavy Rescue 2624 responded and were able to quickly and safely remove the operator without injury. The incident was commanded by Asst. Chief 2610. Additionally while companies operated at this alarm Engine 2511 and Asst. Chief 2510 responded along with station 30 into their first due for a reported garbage truck on fire. Companies arrived to find a working fire and along with members from Engine 3041 and Ladder 3065 quickly extinguished the fire. That incident was commanded by Asst. Chief 3010.

Not all construction has been stopped. If you read the entire statement last friday (I think it was) there are certain types of construction still working (my boyfriend is considered essential but his work has slowed considerably and he will only work if he is alone on a job site). I think it read that they are allowed to continue if they are able to keep safe distances, etc.
