Effective today at 18:00, ALL Ocean County Parks will remain closed until further notice. This is the latest in steps taken by local government to limit the amount of public gatherings in the wake of COVID-19 pandemic.

Those who do not grasp the concept of social distancing are the ones that need to stay home. Those in the middle of 500 acres, in the middle of nowhere, with zero human interaction while out there are not the problem.
You need to stay in your house.
Not good for the mental health of the county. Plus, now instead of people going to large parks to walk or run, they will be walking and running in neighborhoods, possibly in close proximity to others.
