Citing evolving restrictions, CDC guidance, and an “unprecendented and challenging time” the LEGOLAND New York Resort has decided to postpone their opening to a date to be announced later, in the 2021 new year.

Originally slated to open on July 4th, 2020 the LEGOLAND New York Resort and Merlin Entertainment had been running season pass deals since Black Friday 2019.

Management has promised that all 2020 Passes will be valid for 2021 and if your pass was given a “free upgrade” to 2021 (black friday deal) you would be given 2022 as well!

If you have purchased an annual pass or single-day ticket, we will honor it when we open in 2021. Please click one of the links below for further information, and email any questions to [email protected]. Due to high volume, replies may be delayed, and we appreciate your patience.

And if that’s not enough, the FAQ page mentioned that if your child was under 3 for your planned visit to the park, but will be over 3 in 2021, they will let your child in at the 2 year old rate (free).

My Child Will Be Age 3 or Older in 2021. Will I Now Need to Buy a Pass For My Child?

If your child would have been age 2 or under for the 2020 season, they will not require a pass in 2021.
