Just send the turkeys to Lakewood. They’ll fix this shit in 48 hours
Lorde George Williams no we need to send bin Geese to patrol Lakewood, they will make people stay in ????????????
Lyn Gomez I say we broker a coalition with the geese and the turkeys that terrorized Toms River, and send them to Lakewood. We can send them in, led by the Solar people coupled with a few Jehovah witnesses.
Lorde George Williams sound like the cops need to pay another house visit….

Turkeys commonly do this. They see their reflection and they think it’s another turkey. Leave it alone and it will move on.

On weekends if you call Beachwood P.D. non-emergency number it gets transferred to the Sheriff’s Department, who also handles requests for Animal Control on weekends. NOW YOU KNOW.

Leave the poor bird alone … What do you think the police and animal control are going to do…. You live in there world. We continue to knock down trees and building strip malls and houses. Maybe instead of bitching you can show some empathy for these birds….
Hope he keeps his social distance! ????
Mary Dee Grow , he’s looking for Nick
As an Animal Control Officer, there is nothing that can be done by an ACO to remove the birds. That is not our jurisdiction. Only sick or injured. Healthy wildlife cannot be touched. There is no reason to remove or relocate these guys, that falls under Fish & Game. These birds (I’m pretty sure) are protected under the migratory bird act. Sadly, our wildlife is running out of room to roam and survive. I understand that many people consider animals as nothing but a nuisance, but, we can most definitely coexist. Leave them alone and they’ll leave you alone. They can be aggressive during breeding season, I get that, but they will eventually leave. It’s also a good idea to make sure nobody feeds them. Animals stay where the food is, so if the birds are hanging out in a particular area, someone could be either feeding or their home was recently demolished and now they are uprooted searching for a new one. The more and more land we take for ourselves, the less we’re leaving for them and the animal’s suffer.
