On March 1, we commenced our Township EMS. As little as 8 days later the Corona virus reared it’s self and I can assure our EMTs haven’t blinked. To date our EMTs are answering 90% of all calls with an average response time of under 9 minutes. They have been professional, courteous and effective. I, as well as the Town Council am extremely proud of the work they have and will continue to do. Great Job and be safe!!

Thank You Manchester EMS for doing such a great job from the get go! The same goes for all NJ EMS squads, paid and volunteer. Let’s hope the Federal Government, The State, The County and the Towns come up with enough PPEs to keep them running? These are the “First Responders” who are needed to access patients and transport to the Hospitals. Without Masks, Gloves, Gowns they will soon cease operating, and then who is going to take all the sick people to the hospitals.
