County College, Brian E. Rumpf, director of administration and program development for the Ocean County Health Department, said Monday afternoon. Rumpf, also an assemblyman for the state’s 9th Legislative District, said the county hopes to know by Tuesday a firmer date on which the testing center will be open.
“We’re waiting for all the supplies to get to us” before announcing when the site will be up and running, he said.
As of now, there are state-run testing centers at Bergen County Community College and the PNC Bank Arts Center.
A statement from the OCHD reads, “The Ocean County Health Department is continuing to work on a registration system for the testing site. This is a key component to making certain testing goes smoothly.
“Ocean County is anticipating opening the site soon and the county is working toward a date once all test kits have been received and a scheduling system is in place. There are a number of pieces still being worked out on this. We are moving as expeditiously as possible.”

That property is own by the OJs. You think they’re gonna allow a testing site there right before passover? HELL NO
Stacy Clayton …..Blue Claws should have no right to say no in a situation like this……our governor should overrule them.
Stacy Clayton would be a better spot being Takewood will become ground zero in America ????????♂️
Doreen Gesslein you would think… But the governor should be doing more to stop the spread but he’s not ????????♀️
Stacy Clayton the governor usually works with Lakewood. At least he is recognizing that the city is a major concern with all the travel, group settings and ignoring of his orders
