Juvenile Burn Victim Flown to Hospital
On March 21, 2020 at approximately 11:00 PM police responded to Cutty Ct in reference to a juvenile burn victim who received burns from a candle and hot wax. Upon arrival, Silverton EMS and MONOC Paramedics were on scene rendering treatment. The victim was flown to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by Hackensack 2 medivac for his burns. There were no obvious signs of suspicious activity or foul play regarding this incident.
How does a child get burned that badly from a candle and wax? And 11pm?? That poor child
The parents were probably nodding out .

Did anyone stop to think that they may have flown him..not because of the severity of the injury..but to treat him in a safe hospital? I know I myself have thought about all the hospitals that are treating so many coronavirus patients and how difficult it will be to keep healthy people safe from infection

Must’ve been one hell of a candle.
Hope hes ok. At 11pm the Parents could have been sleeping or watching tv thinking their juvenile child was in bed sleeping or playing video games. Dont assume they were nodding out if you’re not sure. It’s not fair to the child or the parents.

I once saw a little girl with the worst burns from a candle. The girl bent over the candle to sing happy birthday to herself and her hair went into the flame and that was it
