   Not an unusual thing for a hospital to go on divert.

     Laurie Butler Lawroski it’s when the hospital no longer has beds available in the emergency room. Usually with a divert, they ask any ambulances to transport the patient to another local hospital.

     Adrienne Becker it would usually just be for emergency services. If you need to walk in, they will not turn you away, but your will most likely be waiting a while
