OCHD REPORTS 32 NEW POSITIVE CASES OF COVID-19 IN OCEAN COUNTY
The Ocean County Health Department is reporting that 32 new positive cases of COVID-19 have been identified in Ocean County. The additional cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases to 48 in Ocean County as of March 19, 2020.
Below is a list of towns and the current total number of cases:
Barnegat: 2 Cases
Berkeley: 2 Cases
Brick: 1 Case
Jackson: 5 Cases
Lakewood: 26 Cases
Little Egg Harbor: 1 Case
Manchester: 3 Cases
Point Pleasant Borough: 1 Case (Earlier reports erroneously identified this case from Point Pleasant Beach)
Toms River: 4 Cases
Stafford: 2 Cases
Surf City: 1 Case
Total Cases in Ocean County: 48 Cases as of March 19, 2020
Now since testing is limited are all 32 severe enough that they are in the hospital or are some home isolation?
I heard that Lakewood has been going to NY to get tested, so we won’t even know the real numbers there.
