Toms River: Photos from inside the emergency room at Community Medical Center show temporary plastic sheeting being used as barriers. This is an extra precaution the hospital is taking to protect against the spread of Coronavirus.

We’d rather you not insult our workplace during this time. If you had an actual emergency, we would save your ass, despite your hating on the hospital. Maybe you can come to work and gown up with all of us. Or just keep your mouth shut.
Freaks me out. Makes it Real. Stay Safe Healthcare Workers.
God bless everyone who works there
I was discharged from CMC on Sunday before all the plastic went up. Scary stuff…
I walked by this the other day… was at the hospital today and it was like a ghost town! But, today my husband was transferred to Newark Beth-Israel, but he had some great nurses today when he was in the cath lab!
Amanda Hinkson I’m going for catherisation on Thursday

Getting ready for my shift
Tina L Barone thank you and all for all you do.
How do they clean the plastic sheets? Do they replace them on a regular schedule?
John Ciocco I think they spray them down with high powered disinfectant. Back in 75 when I participated in a disaster drill at St. Frances Hospital JC, NJ, that was one of the protocol. Spray disinfectant procedures.
James Connors
Kara Triola
Gina Triola ughh I saw it it’s so damn creepy looking. This is the only reason I hope he waits now
Kara Triola I’m gonna get you a maternity hazmat my poor nephew
Gina Triola it’s the ER so hopefully that is avoided !
That plastic was hanging there back on the 3rd of the month when I was there. So? They are eternally working on CMC. It’s called progress.
It’s ok, it’s temporary for the greater good
I know two people in hospital past two weeks .. one in nj and one in ny… both of the were stuck in a room with a person thought to have a flu… you would think with all the hysteria they would have quarantine led the flu patients … instead they stuck others one a 90year old and the second a 50+year old in a room with a violently ill vomiting coughing patient… and people are worried about going out ??? I would be far more concerned going near a hospital… neither of them got sick … so that’s good… so much for paranoia… I think this whole situation is ridiculous and overblown for something that is less deadly than the flu or TB etc
