Stop & Shop Press Release: Starting Monday, March 16, store hours are 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. to give time for store associates to unload deliveries, stock shelves and serve customers throughout the day.
Starting Thursday, Stop & Shop also will open from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. for customers over the age of 60 whom the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says are most vulnerable.

I drive a bus for a senior community, we go to the Tom’s River Stop and Shop every Friday, those hours for seniors are ridiculous 6am to 7:30am

This is great. But what happens if someone young is shopping for an elderly person. What kind of documentation would you need to allow them to shop and get the elderly food?

None. Then you go after 730am and get what’s needed.
This is only so seniors have a chance to get things.
I had to CLIMB shelves to get the last box of something, crawl on bottom shelf to get last can of veg. Elderly can’t be doing that.

What about the people who have autoimmune diseases? Will they get a time to shop without without the full population?
Janice Sheridan maybe you could go on line and do store pick up. I think like how people lie about dogs being service dogs, it would be hard to prove it. I am compromised too but I just try to be careful.

Well that’s very good news that also keeps them away from everyone they are the ones that are most vulnerable so we need to watch out for them people need to be calm if enough food for everyone we do not have a food or toilet paper shortage people are taken a too far if you aint got curlpaper get in the bed top and use a face cloth you gotta do what you have to do but there’s no reason running in the store a like a mad person and stomping on people to get a roll a turtle a paper I think out as ridiculous we’re human beings act like it
