GSP: Junk in the Road

   There’s a lot of noise coming from the parkway in that direction. In addition to a helicopter circling for the last 20 mins. Would this be the reason?

     They wouldn’t send a chopper for crap in the road, but maybe someone ran it over? We’ll keep listening if we hear more.

     Ocean County Scanner News thanks! Literally has sounded like fireworks intermittently going off for the last hour or so. I’m about 3/4 mile up the road from exit 91.

     Ryan Corcoran I just heard a sequence of 10 pops go off 4 times in the last 25 mins. At first they sounded like fireworks then by the 2nd set it became more of a pop and less like a firework burst, if that makes sense? I’m 1/4 mile off 91

     Ryan Corcoran Apparently they were doing testing at a nearby military base and that was why my dog wouldn’t come out from hiding and why we couldn’t sleep at midnight

   Saw one fly off a parts delivery pickup truck on 295 riding next to me. It nearly caused a collision behind us. The guy driving thought it was funny, but he took off quickly when I started yelling at him. Likely the same guy..
