Yesterday San Bernadino County Fire Department was called into Twentynine Palms for a mine rescue. It was discovered that a group of people entered a mine and one person could not make it out under their own power. With the complexity of the situation and hazards that apply to an underground mine multiple USAR Team’s ( URBAM SEARCH AND RESCUE ) were called in to help with the technical rescue.

I’ll be sure to stay out of underground mines in Ocean county.

James Ferrara our shitty town made the news home
One of the things you have to be careful about in parts of AZ are abandoned mine shafts. Of course when you enter these areas there are signs that say “Are you prepared to rescue yourself?” Because there aren’t any patrols and they expect that you’re a responsible adult that will take proper precautions.
