There’s a new suspected case of the coronavirus in the tri-state area.
The patient was identified at Bayshore Medical Center in Monmouth County and is currently in isolation.
We won’t know for sure if that person is infected for a couple of days, but hospital officials say it’s taking every precaution and is prepared to handle the case.

Debra Sanguinetti that’s not true. Every single article specifically states 80% of the cases have mild symptoms. 15% severe and only 5% being extreme. But they also say out of the 80,000 confirmed cases, there are many undiagnosed cases where people just thought they had a cold or no realized symptoms. So the 80,000 is actually way more. When you look at all those figures, the mortality rate is probably under 1%. And no children have been severely ill. So most of the cases of deaths are those with health issues or the elderly.
